Understanding Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a method of mental programming. It is not sleep. It is not unconsciousness. It is not giving up control. It is actually an altered state of highly focused consciousness in which the conscious mind is bypassed  and the subconscious mind is accessed directly.

The subconscious mind is far more powerful than the conscious mind. The seat of all memory, it holds emotions, events, and information long since suppressed, repressed or forgotten by the conscious mind. Contact with the subconscious mind can reveal facts, feelings, and causes of behaviors and attitudes which, in turn, can be strengthened, modified or eliminated, according to the client's needs.

Hypnosis usually involves a combination of fixation of attention, relaxation, and suggestion.  Approximately 94% of the population is able to be hypnotized. Results are often rapid and dramatic,
producing innumerable benefits that last a lifetime.
